Welcome – William T. Donahoo, MD
William Donahoo, MD, FTOS, is a clinical associate professor at the University of Florida in the division of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He received his medical degree from the University of Colorado, where he also continued his training through an internship and residency in internal medicine. He then completed a clinical fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes, as well as a research fellowship in the same area. Before coming to the University of Florida, Dr. Donahoo served as associate professor for the University of CO Denver and as medical staff for Kaiser Permanente Colorado (KPCO). Presently he is a member of the Obesity Society, where he serves as chair of the education committee, and the Endocrine Society. He was also co-medical director for the specialized nutrition support service at KPCO.
