Dr. Colleen Digman is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine where she recieved her medical degree in May of 2000. Dr. Digman completed her internship at the University of Massachusetts, trained at the New England Medical Center and followed up with a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the New England Medical Center from 2003-2005. From 2005-2008, she served as a staff physician in Endocrinology at North Shore Medical Center and then transferred to Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH where she continued as a staff physician from 2008-2010. In 2010, Dr. Digman started with the University of Florida, in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Digman’s areas of clinical interest lie in adult diabetes, thyroid disorders, parathyroid disease, and general endocrinology. Dr. Digman is a member of the Endocrine Society, American College of Endocrinology, American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).

 

Publications

Dr. Digman’s publications include “Leukopenia and Thrombocytopenia in a patient with Type 2 diabetes mellitus on Thiazolidinedione therapy” and “Systematic Review of Dietary Intervention and the Prevention of Type 2 diabetes”.
