Hiba Basheer, MD
Assistant Professor
Hiba Basheer, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Florida. Dr. Basheer received her medical degree from Baghdad University, College of Medicine, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center, New York. She obtained her clinical fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism as Chief Fellow at the University of Florida where she decided to stay as a junior faculty. Her goals are to provide her patients with dedicated comprehensive care and effective individualized treatment for each patient.
Dr. Basheer has traveled and relocated many times in her life, but she finally chose to become a Gator.
