About Anu Sharma

My name is Anu Sharma, MD, and I am a board-certified endocrinologist here.

I received my medical degree in 2007 from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. I continued my education with an internal medicine residency in 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital. In 2014, I finished my chief medical resident year at the Yale School of Medicine.

In 2017, I completed a clinical fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the Mayo Clinic. During my time at the Mayo Clinic, I also completed a research fellowship in type 2 diabetes mellitus. I went on to attend the University of Florida, where I received a graduate certificate in precision medicine in 2023.
